York Regional Police have identified one more suspect under its investigation dubbed Project Chatter. Police say that officers with the York Regional Police Guns, Gangs and Drug Enforcement Unit are asking for the public’s help in locating a suspect wanted as part of Project Chatter, a major investigation into fentanyl and illegal firearms trafficking across York Region and the Greater Toronto Area.

The investigation has already led to the arrest of 23 individuals and the seizure of 32 illegal firearms, along with a significant quantity of drugs , including more than 700,000 doses of fentanyl, with an estimated street value exceeding $7 million.

Police are now seeking 27-year-old Christopher Morgan of Toronto, who is wanted for trafficking a controlled substance. A warrant has been issued for his arrest. Investigators say Morgan has ties to both Toronto and Vaughan and are appealing to the public for information on his whereabouts.

Authorities urge Morgan to seek legal counsel and turn himself in, and warn that anyone assisting him could face criminal charges.

Anyone with information is asked to contact York Regional Police or provide anonymous tips through Crime Stoppers.
