Windsor police have issued an arrest warrant for a 61-year-old man in connection with the alleged sexual assault of a minor.

The Windsor Police Service says its Child Abuse Sexual Assault (CASA) Unit began investigating the case on January 17, 2026, after receiving a report involving a 17-year-old female.

Investigators allege that several days earlier, the victim was at a residence in Windsor’s downtown area, where the suspect encouraged her to consume alcohol before restraining and sexually assaulting her. Police say the victim later disclosed the incident to a friend, who contacted authorities.

The suspect has been identified as Lexton Vinnory Blair, 61, who is wanted on one charge of sexual assault. He is described as a Black male, approximately 5-foot-7, weighing about 160 pounds, with balding salt-and-pepper hair.

Police say efforts to locate Blair have so far been unsuccessful, and investigators are asking the public for assistance.

Anyone with information regarding the suspect’s whereabouts is urged to contact the Windsor Police Service. Anonymous tips can also be submitted through Windsor & Essex County Crime Stoppers by calling 519-258-8477 or online at www.catchcrooks.com
