Toronto Police Service is warning the public following a series of concerning public safety incidents reported on Mount Pleasant Road.
According to investigators, the incidents occurred on Sunday, July 27, and Monday, July 28, 2025, between 9 p.m. and 10 p.m. During this time, unknown individuals were seen throwing objects off bridges along Mount Pleasant Road, between St. Clair Avenue East and Bloor Street East.
Several vehicles travelling beneath the bridges were struck and damaged. Fortunately, no injuries have been reported.
Police are urging members of the public to stay alert while travelling in the area, particularly during evening hours. Authorities also emphasized that anyone caught throwing objects from bridges may face criminal charges
