Toronto police are working to locate a man and a woman wanted in connection with a theft and credit card fraud investigation in the city’s east end.

According to investigators, officers responded to a call for a theft on Saturday, February 21, 2026, at approximately 2 p.m. in the area of Kingston Road and Victoria Park Avenue. Police allege that the victim had left a wallet inside a locker in a locker room when one of the suspects entered the room, opened the locker, and stole the wallet containing personal property, including a credit card.

Investigators say a second suspect later used the stolen credit card to make purchases at a store.

Police have identified Cristina-Monalisa Honciu, 37, as one of the suspects. She is wanted for theft of a credit card, theft under $5,000, possession or use of a credit card obtained by an offence, and fraud under $5,000. She is described as having a slim build and was last seen wearing a black coat, a white hat, and a scarf.

The second suspect, Mihai-Valentin Caslariu, 48, is also wanted on the same charges. He is described as having a medium build, bald, with a black and grey beard. Police say he was wearing a black winter coat, beige winter toque, grey shirt, white running shoes, glasses, and was carrying a black bag.

Images of both suspects have been released as investigators continue to search for them.
