Two pedestrians were injured after being struck by a vehicle in Scarborough late Tuesday morning.
Emergency crews were called to the intersection of Warden Avenue and Bertrand Avenue at approximately 11:22 a.m. following reports that two pedestrians had been hit by a vehicle.
Both pedestrians were transported to hospital for treatment. Police later confirmed their injuries are non-life-threatening. The driver of the vehicle remained on scene following the collision.
Southbound Warden Avenue was temporarily closed north of Bertrand Avenue as officers investigated the incident, causing traffic delays in the area. Police later said in an update that all roads have since reopened.
The investigation into the collision is ongoing.
