Two men from Brampton are facing multiple charges after Peel Regional Police executed a search warrant that led to the seizure of illegal drugs and stolen property valued at more than $160,000.
On August 6, 2025, officers from the 22 Division Community Incident Response Team (CIRT), in coordination with the 21 Division Criminal Investigation Bureau, conducted a search at a residence in Brampton. During the operation, investigators located and seized a significant quantity of suspected illicit drugs, including heroin and crystal methamphetamine. The combined estimated street value of the drugs is over $110,000.
In addition to the drugs, police also recovered a large amount of stolen goods, with an estimated value exceeding $54,000. Two male suspects were arrested at the scene as a result of the investigation.
Parveen Gill, a 40 year old Brampton resident, has been charged with disobeying a court order, possession of stolen property, and two counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking ; one for heroin and one for crystal methamphetamine.
Gurpreet Mangat, 26, also from Brampton, is charged with failure to comply with a release order, possession of stolen property, and two counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking; involving heroin and crystal methamphetamine.
Both accused were held in custody for a bail hearing and appeared before the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton.
