Toronto police are asking for the public’s help in locating a woman wanted in connection with an alleged forcible confinement and robbery in the city’s east end.
Officers say they responded to a call for a suspicious incident on Tuesday, Feb. 10, 2026, at approximately 12:30 p.m. in the area of Victoria Park Avenue and St. Clair Avenue East.
According to investigators, the victim was walking along a sidewalk when a suspect approached in a vehicle.
Police said in a News Release on Friday that the suspect exited the vehicle and pushed the victim into the passenger seat. Then The suspect drove a short distance to a parking lot, where she forced a ring on the victim and stole his wallet.”
Police say the suspect then drove to another parking lot, where the victim was released, before fleeing the scene in a dark-coloured SUV. Investigators add that the suspect later used the victim’s financial cards to make a purchase.
Authorities have identified the suspect as 38-year-old Mirabela Ene of Toronto. She is wanted on charges including forcible confinement, assault, theft under $5,000, and fraud under $5,000.
The suspect is described as approximately five feet one inch tall, with a heavy build and black hair. Police have released an image as part of the investigation.
