The Toronto Police Service is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a woman as part of an ongoing unidentified human remains investigation.
Emergency crews were called to the area of Union Station, near York Street and Bremner Boulevard, at approximately 10:34 p.m. on Thursday, January 26, 2026, after a person was discovered dead.
According to authorities, the death has been ruled non-suspicious by the coroner.
Investigators say they have been unable to determine the identity of the woman and are now turning to the public for help. She is described as an elderly female, approximately 5’2” tall, with a thin build and short greying hair. At the time she was found, she was wearing a black winter jacket, a grey hooded sweater, black jeans, and black boots.
Police have released an artist’s rendering in hopes that someone may recognize her.
