Toronto police are asking for the public’s help to identify a suspect wanted in connection with an aggravated assault that left a victim with serious, life-altering injuries.
The Toronto Police Service says the incident happened in the area of Pearl Street and Duncan Street early on the morning of Saturday, April 12, 2025. Officers report that around 2:20 a.m., a fight broke out involving two groups. During the altercation, the suspect allegedly assaulted the victim, causing severe and life altering injuries, before fleeing the area in an unknown direction.
Police describe the suspect as a man in his 20s, approximately 5’8” tall and weighing about 140 pounds, with a thin build, short black hair, and a black moustache. At the time of the incident, he was wearing a black athletic-style balaclava, a shiny black puffer jacket with a white shirt underneath, black pants, and black shoes.
Investigators have released images of the suspect as part of the ongoing investigation.
