Toronto Police investigating break-and-enter incident, suspect identified

Toronto police are investigating a break-and-enter incident in the city’s east end and have identified a suspect in the case. 

Investigators allege that on Friday, February 6, 2026, at around 4 a.m., a man forced entry into an apartment building in the Broadview Avenue and Danforth Avenue area. Police say the suspect accessed the building and several storage lockers in the underground parking level, where various items were reported stolen. 

The suspect has been identified as Corey Ramsey, 39, who is listed as having no fixed address. He is currently wanted on multiple charges, including two counts of breach of probation, failure to comply with a release order, two counts of break and enter, and break and enter a non-dwelling with intent. 

Ramsey is described as approximately 5-foot-10 with a slim build. At the time of the incident, he was reportedly wearing a dark-colored jacket and sweater.  

Police have released an image of the suspect.
