Toronto police arrest three men, seize large quantities of drugs in Project B3

The Toronto Police Service has announced three arrests following a major drug trafficking investigation that spanned both Toronto and Durham Region. 

Project B3, launched by the Toronto Police Drug Squad in September 2025, focused on individuals allegedly distributing illicit drugs across the Greater Toronto Area. On Monday, November 24, 2025, officers executed multiple search warrants;four in Toronto and one in Durham Region,with support from the Emergency Task Force, K9 Unit, and 14 Division’s Major Crime Unit. Police also seized and searched three vehicles as part of the operation. 

The investigation resulted in the seizure of more than 2.3 kilograms of assorted illicit drugs, including cocaine, fentanyl, crystal methamphetamine, hydromorphone pills, and crack cocaine, along with over $10,000 in Canadian currency and a mobile phone. 

The three men arrested are Alaa Nabil Deen Faraj (29) of Ajax, Syed Hassaan Alam (24) of Toronto, and Hamzah Master (23) of Toronto. 

They were taken into custody and appeared in court on November 24, 2025.
