The Toronto Police Service has announced several arrests following a major firearms investigation tied to a series of violent incidents last year. Among those arrested is 21-year-old Daykwon Joseph, who was wanted on an outstanding warrant in connection with shootings that occurred on March 4, 2025, in the Weston Road and St. Clair Avenue West area, as well as the Lawrence Avenue East and Warden Avenue area.
The investigation, known as “Project Night Hawk,” previously involved a detailed police press conference outlining the scope of the probe and the incidents under investigation.
On Monday, March 16, 2026, members of the Integrated Gun and Gang Task Force executed search warrants at a residence and a vehicle in the Wilson Avenue and Keele Street area.
During the search of the vehicle, police located a firearm on one of the three occupants, identified as Zahki Wong-Campbell. A subsequent search of the residence resulted in the seizure of two additional firearms. Police has arrested three individuals:
Daykwon Joseph, 21, Toronto – Faces charges including attempted murder, discharging a firearm with intent, unlawful possession of multiple firearms, and possession of property obtained by crime.
Zahki Wong-Campbell, 18, Toronto – Charged with possession of loaded firearms, occupying a vehicle with a firearm, possessing firearms without a licence, and breaching prohibition orders.
Tatiana Brown, 20, Vaughan – Charged with occupying a vehicle with a firearm and possessing multiple firearms, including prohibited devices and firearms with altered serial numbers.
Malachi Wong, 21, of Toronto, remains wanted for several firearm-related offences, including possessing firearms without a licence, possessing loaded firearms, and possessing prohibited devices.
