Toronto Police Service say a 27-year-old man has been arrested and charged following a human trafficking investigation involving underage victims in the City of Toronto.

Police say the Human Trafficking Unit launched the investigation in November 2025. It is alleged that through deception, coercion, and control, the accused trafficked 15- and 16-year-old female victims. Investigators allege the victims were forced to take sexualized photographs that were distributed online, and that one of the victims was sexually assaulted by the accused.

On Friday, January 16, 2026, officers executed search warrants under the Criminal Code and the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act at a Toronto address. As a result, the accused was located and taken into custody.

Christopher Casilla-Pena, 27, has been charged with multiple offences, including two counts of trafficking in persons under 18, two counts of procuring under 18, two counts of obtaining sexual services for consideration from a person under 18, sexual assault, possession and distribution of child sexual abuse and exploitation material, voyeuristic recording, and several drug-related charges, including trafficking and possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking. He also faces a failure-to-comply charge related to a release order.

Investigators believe there may be additional victims and are urging anyone affected to come forward. Images of the accused have been released as police continue their investigation.
