Toronto man arrested following stabbing incident involving family members

Toronto Police Service have arrested a man in connection with a stabbing incident that left three family members injured. 

On Thursday, March 12, 2026, at approximately 3:39 a.m., officers responded to a residence near Glendora Avenue and Burnwell Street following reports of a physical altercation involving a knife. Upon arrival, police found three adults with non-life-threatening injuries. 

The suspect, a 26-year-old male, was initially not at the scene when police arrived. The incident involved four family members, and the accused was located and arrested shortly afterward.

All three victims were transported to hospital in stable condition. 

The accused faces multiple charges, including three counts of Assault With a Weapon and three counts of Assault Causing Bodily Harm 

He was scheduled to appear in court at the Toronto Regional Bail Centre, on Thursday, March 12, 2026. 

To protect the identities of the victims, police are not naming the accused. Authorities have confirmed that no additional suspects are being sought.
