Toronto police have laid multiple firearm- and drug-related charges against a 30-year-old man following an investigation in the city’s downtown core.
According to the Toronto Police Service, officers from 53 Division were attempting to execute an arrest warrant on Thursday, December 25, 2025, in the area of Bloor Street East and Yonge Street.
Police allege the suspect fled from officers but was arrested after a brief foot pursuit. At the time of arrest, investigators say the man was in possession of a loaded firearm, a large quantity of cocaine, and a significant amount of cash.
Members of the Integrated Gun and Gang Task Force later executed a search warrant in the same area. Police allege that during the search, officers located additional cash, cocaine, and Oxycodone. Images of the seized items have since been released.
Jordan Agostino, 30, of Toronto, has been charged with multiple offences, including careless handling of a firearm, possession of a weapon dangerous to the public peace, possession of a firearm without a licence, possession of a loaded regulated firearm, possession of a prohibited weapon without authorization, possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking, possession of proceeds of crime exceeding $5,000, and five counts of failing to comply with a release order.
