Toronto police have arrested a 35-year-old man after officers seized multiple firearms, ammunition and drugs during a search warrant in the city’s northwest end.
According to the Toronto Police Service, officers from 23 Division Criminal Investigation Bureau and the Major Crime Unit executed a Criminal Code search warrant on Monday, March 2, 2026, at about 5:45 p.m. at a residence in the Sheppard Avenue West and Weston Road area.
During the search, investigators allegedly located two loaded semi-automatic pistols, a loaded sawed-off shotgun, various ammunition, several overcapacity firearm magazines, a large quantity of marijuana, and cash. Police have released images of the seized items.
Phillip Michael Parker, 35, of Toronto, was arrested and is facing multiple charges, including three counts of possession of a firearm knowing its possession is unauthorized, possession of a prohibited device, possession of a prohibited or restricted weapon device, possession of a loaded prohibited or restricted firearm, possession of a firearm while prohibited, and careless storage of a firearm.
He is also charged with careless storage of ammunition, failing to comply with probation, possession of proceeds of crime, and possession of cannabis for the purpose of selling.
Parker was scheduled to appear in court at the Ontario Court of Justice March 3, 2026
