The City of Brampton considers options to fund the local share of new hospitals in the city

The much-awaited expansion of Peel Memorial Hospital and construction of a new cancer care hospital at Brampton Civic hospital comes with a cost of $125M for the City of Brampton. As the City Council mulls over options to fund the local share, Councillor Jeff Bowman (Ward 3 and 4) discusses the need to involve the public in these discussions and why the city and its residents should continue asking for more beds to fill the gap in health care on the Evening Show with Jatinder Gidda and Prabhjot Sohal. Councillor Bowman also talks about the city’s decision to allow Remembrance Day Lawn Signs in the city, following a motion presented by him.
