A second suspect wanted in connection with a fatal shooting in Toronto last summer has been arrested, the Toronto Police Service says.

Toronto Police Service say that Bryan Emmanuel Fuentes Gramajo, 23, of Longueuil, Quebec, was arrested on March 5, 2026, by the Service de Police de la Ville de Montréal. He had been wanted on a Canada-wide warrant for first-degree murder and was previously listed as the top fugitive on the BOLO Program’s Canada’s 25 Most Wanted list.

The charge relates to a shooting on July 17, 2025, near Highway 401 and Dufferin Street, where officers responding to a call for a person with a gun found a man with gunshot wounds in Yorkdale Mall parking lot. The victim, Kashif Jamal Bentley-Jean, 28, of Toronto, was pronounced dead at the scene. The killing marked Toronto’s 21st homicide of 2025.

A previous arrest was made in August 2025 when Bradley Lucate Nicolas, 20, of Montreal, was taken into custody by the Service de police de Laval and charged with first-degree murder.

A third suspect, Jimmy Prudent, 28, of Montreal, remains wanted for first-degree murder.

Fuentes Gramajo is scheduled to appear at the Toronto Regional Bail Centre on March 10. Anyone with information about the remaining suspect is asked to contact police or Crime Stoppers.
