Police are asking for the public’s help identifying three men wanted in connection with a violent assault earlier this year in downtown Toronto.
The Toronto Police Service says officers responded to reports of an assault around 2:49 a.m. on February 8, 2026, in the King Street West and Spadina Avenue area.
Investigators say three male victims were inside a business in the area when they noticed suspects touching their personal belongings. The victims confronted the group and asked them to leave the establishment. Police say that shortly after, the victims left the the establishment. As they were outside, the suspects allegedly emerged from a nearby residence and approached them.
The suspects then allegedly assaulted the victims before running back into the residence, investigators said. One of the victims was taken to hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
Police have released images of the suspects as part of the investigation.
Suspect #1 is described as about 5’10” with a medium build and shaggy black hair. He was wearing a black puffer jacket, dark jeans, and black-and-white Nike shoes.
Suspect #2 is described as about 5’8″ with a medium build and short black-and-grey hair. He was wearing a black jacket with a fur-lined hood, a white T-shirt, black jeans, and white running shoes.
Suspect #3 is described as about 5’10” with a muscular build, short black hair, and a black beard. He was wearing a white T-shirt, black pants, and light brown work boots.
Investigators are urging anyone with information to come forward.
