The Toronto Police Service has laid charges against a 22-year-old man following a child sexual abuse material investigation led by its Internet Child Exploitation (ICE) Unit.
On Thursday, July 17, 2025, members of the Internet Child Exploitation (ICE) Unit executed a Criminal Code search warrant in the area of Finch Avenue West and Weston Road. During the search, investigators allege that the suspect was found in possession of child sexual abuse material on his personal electronic devices.
As a result of the investigation, Ujjval Parmar, 22, of Toronto, was arrested on Friday, July 25, 2025. He has been charged with the following offences:
- Possession of Child Pornography
- Accessing Child Pornography
- Making Child Pornography Available
Parmar was scheduled to appear in court on the same day at 10 a.m. at the Toronto Regional Bail Centre.
