Peel Police Seek Suspect in Brampton Transit Bus Stabbing

Peel police are appealing to the public for assistance in identifying a suspect involved in a stabbing on a Brampton Transit bus Wednesday night. 

According to investigators, the incident occurred as the bus was travelling near Bramalea Road and Bovaird Drive, when two men who did not know each other got into an argument. The confrontation escalated, and one of the men pulled out a weapon and stabbed the victim several times before fleeing the scene on foot. 

The victim, a man in his 20s, sustained serious injuries but is expected to recover. 

Police describe the suspect as South Asian, medium build, with a stubble beard, tattoos on his right forearm, and glasses. He was last spotted wearing a white long-sleeve shirt, blue jeans, and a black Toronto Raptors hat.
