Mississauga, ON – 24-year-old Caledon man fatally shot; investigators release vehicle descriptions
Peel Regional Police are appealing to the public for help in identifying two vehicles believed to be connected to a fatal shooting in Mississauga that took place earlier this year.
The incident occurred on Monday, January 20, shortly before 2:00 a.m., in the area of Dixie Road, just south of Derry Road. Officers responded to a 911 call reporting gunshots and arrived to find 24-year-old Gurvinder Singh of Caledon suffering from gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene shortly afterward.
Following an extensive review of surveillance footage in the area, investigators with the Homicide and Missing Persons Bureau have identified two vehicles of interest in connection with the crime:
- A black 2024 Ford F-150 PowerBoost hybrid pickup truck, with a trim package
- A black GMC Yukon or Chevrolet Suburban, model years 2021 to 2025
Police are urging anyone who may have seen these vehicles in the area on the night of the shooting, or who may have relevant dashcam or surveillance footage, to come forward.
