Brampton, ON – Peel Regional Police are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying two suspects connected to a series of credit card fraud incidents involving gas purchases in Brampton.
Between May 13 and June 5, officers received multiple reports of fraudulent transactions in the area of Queen Street and Delta Park Boulevard. According to investigators, two men used stolen credit card information to buy gasoline — often for large commercial transport trucks.
In total, police say there were 19 separate fraudulent purchases, resulting in more than $12,000 in losses for the victim.
Both suspects are described as South Asian men, and security footage captured their appearances.
The first suspect is believed to be between 35 and 40 years old, with a heavy build, black beard and mustache. At the time, he was wearing a reflective safety vest, Adidas-branded shirt, brown cargo pants, and green running shoes.
The second suspect is estimated to be between 25 and 30 years old, with a medium build, black beard and mustache, and black hair with shaved sides. He was seen wearing a black jacket, grey sweatpants, and a grey Fila sweater.
