Peel Regional Police have announced that seven Toronto men have been arrested and charged in connection with a deadly home invasion in Mississauga in 2024.

Police were called to a residence near Central Parkway West and Confederation Parkway around 3:40 a.m. on Oct. 1, 2024, after reports of gunfire. Investigators say four masked suspects allegedly forced their way into the home and demanded money and valuables. During the confrontation, 55-year-old homeowner Ruo Zhou Wei was shot and later died in hospital. The suspects fled in a white vehicle identified as a Volkswagen Atlas.
