Toronto police say a male pedestrian was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries after being struck by a vehicle along with a dog near Ontario Place on Tuesday afternoon.
The collision occurred at approximately 2:18 p.m. in the area of Lakeshore Boulevard and Remembrance Drive. Police say both the pedestrian and the dog were hit by a vehicle. The dog was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver remained at the scene following the incident. Police were on site for the investigation, and all lanes in the area have since reopened.
