Nissan has recalled nearly 38,000 vehicles in Canada. This recall is taking place across North America due to an issue with bearing manufacturing, which could cause engine damage or failure. The affected models include the 2021–2024 Rogue, 2019–2020 Altima, 2019–2022 INFINITI QX50, and 2022 INFINITI QX55. According to the company, a total of 37,837 vehicles are impacted in Canada.
Nissan stated that a solution to the issue is ready, and notification letters will be sent to customers starting August 22. Once notified, owners are advised to take their vehicle to the nearest Nissan or INFINITI dealer for inspection and repair, if necessary. The company added that no accidents or injuries related to the defect have been reported so far. Customers can check the recall status of their vehicle using the VIN number at nissan.ca or infiniti.ca.
