The Niagara Regional Police Service (NRPS) Internet Child Exploitation Unit has arrested 34-year-old Patrick Pawel Lagowski of Toronto in connection with an investigation into online child exploitation.

The probe, which began in January 2026, targeted an individual attempting to contact and meet a child for sexual purposes.

Lagowski faces multiple charges, including luring a child via telecommunication for sexual interference, sexual touching, and sexual assault, as well as possession of child sexual abuse material.
