Peel Regional Police have launched an investigation into a suspected arson that occurred early Monday morning in Brampton.
According to police, around 3:30 a.m., multiple tow trucks were set on fire in the area of Rutherford Road and Glidden Road. Several individuals were reportedly seen igniting the vehicles before fleeing in an unknown direction. No injuries have been reported in connection with the incident.
A police spokesperson confirmed that the matter is being treated as suspected arson. Preliminary evidence suggests that four to five individuals may have been involved, though no suspects have yet been identified or described.
Police have stated that the investigation is ongoing and additional information will be provided as it becomes available.
