A man has been rushed to hospital in critical condition following a shooting in Mississauga late Thursday morning. The incident occurred around 11:01 a.m. in the area of Derry Road and Cardiff Boulevard, prompting a large police response.
According to Peel Regional Police, an adult male suffered gunshot wounds and was transported to hospital with life-threatening injuries. Officers say the suspects fled the scene in a vehicle immediately after the shooting. No description of the suspects or the vehicle has been released at this time.
