Man in 60s seriously injured in stabbing at hotel near Toronto Pearson Airport

A man is in hospital after early morning stabbing at an airport-area hotel in Toronto. Toronto Police Service shared this information on social media platform X early this morning that a stabbing incident occurred at a hotel. 

One man is seriously injured in this incident. The stabbing was reported around 1:54 a.m. in the area of Islington Avenue and Westhampton Drive. Police said that a male suspect fled the scene. 
The injured man is in his 60s and sustained serious but non-life-threatening injuries. 
Police currently have no suspect description and the investigation is ongoing.
