Illegal Guns Seized, six people charged during traffic stops in Mississauga

Peel Police say their Strategic and Tactical Enforcement Policing (STEP) Unit has taken several illegal guns off the streets and laid a number of criminal charges after recent investigations in Mississauga. 

Between September 19 and 21, 2025, officers carried out traffic stops near Mid-Way Boulevard and Dixie Road, and around Silver Creek Boulevard and Cawthra Road. In four separate stops, occupants of vehicles  were found breaking the Cannabis Control Act and/or Liquor Licence and Control Act. Further searches uncovered an illegal firearm in each vehicle. 

The following individuals were arrested and charged with multiple firearm-related offences: 

Revi Kumar, 28, Toronto 

Dena Jokhu, 27, Ajax 

Angelinah Nicholson, 20, Brampton 

David Campbell, 20, Brampton 

Sean Jackson, 48, Toronto 

In another case, a 29-year-old motorcyclist tried to run from police after committing a traffic offence. Officers caught him and discovered he had a loaded firearm and was breaching a probation order. He has been identified as Nathan Davis of Toronto.
