The Hamilton Police Service has arrested and charged a man following an investigation into a series of alleged violent sexual assaults involving female sex workers in the city’s central area.
Police say the case was led by the Sex Crimes Unit, which resulted in the arrest of Paul Kimani, 33, on March 15, 2026.
Kimani faces multiple charges, including sexual assault, aggravated assault, theft under $5,000, and mischief under $5,000.
Investigators allege the accused arranged meetings with female sex workers in central Hamilton and became physically violent during those interactions. Authorities believe there may be additional victims who have not yet come forward.
Kimani is described as a Black male, approximately 5’6” tall and 153 pounds, with a medium build, short dark hair, and facial hair including a moustache and goatee.
