Halton police seek public’s assistance after a Milton home targeted with shooting

The Halton Regional Police Service is asking for the public’s assistance following a shooting at a Milton residence last month. 

Police say that on February 21, 2026, around 7:45 p.m., officers responded to a home on Rose Way after occupants reported hearing a loud bang. Upon investigation, officers found two bullet holes in the front window of the residence. No injuries were reported, and there were no further reports of damage to neighboring homes. 

Police believe the incident was targeted. Anyone with information is urged to contact Detective Constable M. O’Halloran of the 1 District Criminal Investigation Bureau Projects Team at 905‑878‑5511 ext. 2316. 

Investigators are also requesting security or dash cam footage from February 21 showing the area around Britannia Road and/or Regional Road 25 between 7:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m.
