Halton police arrest Applied Behaviour Analysis Therapist in Milton for alleged assault of children with autism

The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) have charged a Applied Behaviour Analysis therapist working in Milton in connection with alleged assaults on children.

Police began investigating after receiving complaints concerning a therapist working at Spectacokids on Bronte Street South in Milton. Following an investigation by HRPS’s Child Abuse and Sexual Assault (CASA) Unit, Muaz Sarfraz, 25, of Mississauga, was arrested on Tuesday, February 24, 2026. He is facing the following charges: 

Six counts of Assault 

One count of Assault with a Weapon 

One count of Assault Causing Bodily Harm 

He remains in custody pending a bail hearing. Police say that the alleged offences reportedly occurred during recent therapy sessions at the Bronte Street South location and investigators have identified two victims, both children with autism, who were alone with Sarfraz at the time of the alleged assaults. Investigators believe there may be additional victims.
