Ontario has banned speed cameras and launched a $210 million Road Safety Fund for speed bumps, raised crosswalks, roundabouts, signs, and more police patrols.
Supporters say this creates permanent safety infrastructure, avoids “cash-grab” ticketing, and delivers real improvements in school zones. Critics argue the cameras were working, reducing speeding, and ensuring speeders, not taxpayers paid for road safety.
So, the question is simple:
Do you support Doug Ford’s decision? Is the $210M expense justified, or should speed cameras have stayed?
