Firearms stolen after break-and-enter at Beaverton residence

Police are investigating a residential break-and-enter in Beaverton that resulted in the theft of a gun safe containing several firearms. 

North Division officers were called to a home near Thorah Concession Road 4 and Thorah Side Road at about 8:10 p.m. on Tuesday, February 17, 2026, following reports of a break-in. 

Investigators say the homeowner had left the property early that morning and returned shortly after 5 p.m., discovering the front door open. Upon inspecting the residence, the homeowner determined that a gun safe had been stolen from the home. Police confirm the safe contained multiple firearms. 

Authorities are asking anyone who was in the area between 8 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. on the day of the incident to check for cellphone video, dashcam recordings, or residential surveillance footage that may assist investigators.
