A man was injured in a shooting outside a home in Vaughan Wednesday morning and York Regional Police are searching for the suspects.
Police said in a news release that the incident happened around 1:45 a.m. on Wednesday, January 21, 2026, in the area of Martin Grove Road and Andrew Park. Officers found a man at the scene with non-life-threatening injuries, who was taken to hospital for treatment.
Police say the suspects arrived in a dark-coloured Porsche SUV. One suspect got out and fired shots at the victim before fleeing the scene. The suspect was reportedly wearing a balaclava.
Investigators believe this was a targeted shooting. Police are asking anyone with information about the incident to come forward. They are also seeking any surveillance or dashcam footage from the area at the time of the shooting.
