Durham Regional Police ask for public’s assistance in locating missing 61-year-old vulnerable woman

Durham Regional Police Service continues to search for a missing 61-year-old woman and is asking for the public’s assistance in locating her. 

Police said the 61-year-old woman, named Rosetta, has been missing since the afternoon of December 1, 2025. She was last seen in the area of Douglas Avenue and Radom Street in Pickering at around 1:00 p.m. 

Police describe Rosetta as a 61-year-old White woman with a medium build and dark brown hair. When she was last seen, she was wearing a black toque, a long black trench-style winter coat, black pants, and black-and-white shoes. She was also carrying a light-coloured purse or tote bag. 

Anyone with information about her location is asked to contact the Durham Regional Police Service at 905-579-1520, or reach Detective Constable Westcott with the West Division Criminal Investigations Branch at the same number, extension 2528.
