Anita Anand is a professor in the Faculty of Law. Since 2010, she has served as the Academic Director of the Centre for the Legal Profession. Her main research areas relate to the regulation of capital markets with a specific focus on corporate governance, capital raising techniques, systemic risk as well as legal ethics and the corporation. In 2016, she was named the J. R. Kimber Chair in Investor Protection and Corporate Governance—the first research chair for investor rights in North America.
