Police have issued a Canada-wide warrant for 52-year-old Scott Devlin, who is wanted in connection with a homicide discovered earlier this year in Sault Ste. Marie.
According to the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service, Devlin is facing charges of second-degree murder and indignity to a dead body related to the death of a 30-year-old victim whose remains were found on June 19, 2025, at a multi-unit residence in the 700 block of Pine Street.
Devlin was initially reported missing on June 18, 2025, but investigators now believe he was directly involved in the homicide. The suspect was last seen on June 17, 2025, in the area of Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport and may still be within the Greater Toronto Area.
Police describe Devlin as approximately 5’10” tall, with a thin to medium build and blonde hair. He has distinct tattoos ;a panther and the word “sinner” on one arm, and the word “saint” on the other.
Authorities are urging anyone with information on Devlin’s whereabouts to contact the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service at (705) 949-6300.
