For the second time in a matter of weeks, a business in Caledon has been the target of a shooting. The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Caledon Detachment is investigating the latest incident.

Police report that the shooting occurred in the early hours of January 6 on Perdue Court, near Airport Road and Mayfield Road, north of Brampton. The street is located in an industrial area that houses several trucking depots.

Investigators say this is the same location where a shooting was reported in December. In both incidents, the same business was targeted, though authorities have not disclosed its name.

Police believe both shootings were deliberate and targeted attacks.

In a statement, the OPP urged residents to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity. The investigation is being led by the Caledon OPP Major Crime Unit under the direction of the OPP Criminal Investigation Branch.

Authorities are asking anyone with information, including surveillance or dash-camera footage, to contact the Caledon OPP at 1-888-310-1122. Anonymous tips can also be submitted to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS) or online at ontariocrimestoppers.ca
