Toronto man arrested in ongoing sexual assault investigation

The Toronto Police Service has arrested a 34-year-old man in connection with an ongoing sexual assault investigation that spanned several months.  

Police were initially called to the area of University Avenue and Queen Street West on Friday, March 20, 2026, following reports of sexual assault. The investigation determined that the accused allegedly sexually assaulted the victim on multiple occasions between December 10, 2025, and March 15, 2026. 

On Monday, March 23, 2026, Antonio Neves, 34, of Orangeville, was arrested and charged with three counts of sexual assault. He was scheduled to appear in court at the Toronto Regional Bail Centre at 9:30 a.m.
