Crews respond to residential fire in Mississauga late Monday

A large house fire swept through a residential property in Mississauga late Monday night. 

Emergency crews were dispatched around 10:40 p.m. to the area of Eglinton Avenue West and McLaughlin Road, near Select Court and Mirage Place, after reports of fire. 

It remains unclear whether anyone was inside the residence at the time of the fire. No injuries have been confirmed, and officials have not yet released information on the cause. 

Firefighters from Mississauga Fire and Emergency Services, along with officers from Peel Regional Police, remained at the scene overnight.
