Three armed suspects are on the run after an early-morning robbery at a business in Markham. Police is seeking public’s help in identifying three suspects.
According to York Regional Police, officers were called to the area of Woodbine Avenue and 14th Avenue at approximately 2:50 a.m. on Thursday, March 19, 2026. Investigators say three armed individuals entered the establishment, where they confronted patrons and forced them into a single room.
Police allege the suspects threatened those inside while demanding cash and mobile phones. After obtaining the items, the group fled in a dark-coloured sedan, travelling southbound on Woodbine Avenue. No injuries were reported.
Authorities have released descriptions of the suspects;
The first is described as a Black male with a thin build, wearing all black clothing, including a hooded jacket, gloves, and a balaclava, and was armed with a handgun.
The second suspect is described as a white male, thin build, wearing a blue hooded sweater, black pants, white shoes, gloves, and a black balaclava, also armed with a handgun.
The third suspect is described as a Black male, thin build, wearing a black jacket over a dark blue hoodie, black pants, black shoes, and a black balaclava, carrying a grey backpack.
