Police in Oshawa are investigating an armed robbery at a local business and are asking the public for help identifying five male suspects who fled the scene after stealing merchandise.
Durham Regional Police said in a news release today that the robbery took place on Saturday, March 7, 2026, at approximately 6:20 p.m. Officers from the Central East Division responded to reports of an armed person at Vape Mart, located at 355 Wentworth Street West in Oshawa.
Investigators say five male suspects entered the store and threatened an employee with a gun, took several vape products. and then ran from the scene. After the robbery, the suspects quickly fled the area.
Police confirmed that the employee was not physically injured during the incident.
Investigators are appealing to anyone who may have been in the area between 5:30 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. and may have cell phone, dash camera, or surveillance footage that could assist the investigation.
