Grewal, a 45-year-old social media influencer originally from Punjab who lived in LaSalle, Ontario, near Windsor, was fatally stabbed on March 3, 2026. Police responded shortly before 9:30 p.m. to reports of a stabbing and found Grewal suffering from severe injuries. Investigators have indicated the attack appears to have been targeted, though an official motive has not yet been confirmed.
