Five people have been charged following a series of Toronto police raids on unlicensed cannabis dispensaries across Scarborough.
Toronto Police said in a news release on Friday that between Feb. 26 and March 2, 2026, officers from 41 Division’s Major Crime Unit executed four search warrants at locations near Eglinton Avenue East and Brimley Road, Kennedy Road and St. Clair Avenue East, Kingston Road and Midland Avenue, and Danforth Avenue and Danforth Road.
Police say they found employees working inside these unlicensed dispensaries and seized large quantities of cannabis products, including dried cannabis, pre-rolled joints, edibles, THC vapes, hash, psilocybin chocolate bars, THC-infused bath products, along with cartons of unstamped cigarettes and Canadian currency.
Those charged are:
- Chyna Miron, 22 ,of Toronto
- Luna Muller Menezes, 31,of Toronto
- Niraj Shrestha, 22 ,of Toronto
- Andwele Earle, 37, of Toronto
- Dre-Awn Eubank-Lebeque, 25, of Toronto
Charges include possession and distribution of illicit cannabis, possession of Schedule III substances for trafficking, and sale of unpackaged, unstamped cigarettes.
All five are scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice, on April 13, 2026.
