Four males, including two teenagers, are facing multiple firearm-related charges after police responded to a report of an armed person in Oshawa early Sunday morning.

Durham Regional Police say officers were called to the area of Saguenay Avenue and Rideau Street at around 2:40 a.m. on March 1, 2026, after receiving reports of a male brandishing a firearm while standing with a group.

When officers arrived, they found several people in two vehicles who were filming a music video. Police removed everyone from the vehicles and located two firearms with loaded magazines.

Among those arrested was a 16-year-old Oshawa male who was already under court conditions prohibiting him from possessing weapons following a similar arrest earlier this year.

Dylon Tajay Barclay, 19, of Whitby, Juan Pablo Alejandro Villatoro, 20, of Clarington, a 17-year-old from Pickering, and the 16-year-old from Oshawa have all been charged with firearm-related offences. The 16-year-old also faces a charge of failing to comply with an undertaking.

Villatoro and the 16-year-old were held for a bail hearing, while Barclay and the 17-year-old were released on an undertaking.

Authorities note the allegations have not been proven in court.

Police are asking anyone with information or video footage related to the incident to contact investigators.
