Police are searching for multiple suspects after a smash-and-grab robbery at a jewelry store inside Burlington’s Mapleview Mall.

The Halton Regional Police Service says the incident happened on Feb. 20, 2026, at approximately 7:50 p.m., when four suspects entered Charm Diamond Centres at Mapleview Mall, located at 900 Maple Avenue.

Investigators allege the suspects used hammers to smash several display cases and steal multiple pieces of jewelry before fleeing the store. Police say the group then escaped in a waiting black Honda CR-V, which may have been driven by a fifth suspect.

The suspects seen inside the store are described as males between approximately 5’5″ and 5’8″ tall, with small builds, wearing dark-coloured clothing and face coverings.

No physical injuries were reported among staff or mall patrons.

Police are asking anyone with information about the robbery, including security footage or dash cam video from the area around the time of the incident, to contact the 3 District Criminal Investigations Bureau at 905-825-4777 ext. 2316.
