Coca-Cola Canada Bottling Ltd. is investing $141 million to renovate and expand its flagship manufacturing, distribution and sales centre in Brampton.

Ontario government is welcoming this funding and says that the expansion will introduce a new state-of-the-art production line capable of producing at least 20 million additional cases each year, while creating up to 500 construction jobs. Province says that the project will be built exclusively by Canadian tradespeople, with at least 75 per cent of materials sourced domestically.

Premier Doug Ford said the investment reflects strong confidence in Ontario’s workforce and business environment. The upgraded facility will be one of the most technologically advanced in the country, increasing production capacity, enhancing packaging capabilities and helping bring new products to market faster.

Since becoming an independent, family-owned company more than seven years ago, Coca-Cola Canada Bottling has invested over $230 million in its Brampton operations. The facility employs more than 1,300 people and supplies beverages to thousands of customers across Ontario and eastern Canada.
